We have been running quilt workshops and retreats for several years.  It all began with a new sewing machine. I have been sewing since I can remember and I had my own machine from being around 9 years old. Hence the basis for our Patchwork and Quilting Retreats.

 

Tim grew up with Susan Briscoe and Susan had mentioned before to us about holding quilting retreats here at The Royal Bridlington. As my interest grew she encouraged me to get a group together and she would come and stay. Everyone enjoyed the three days so much that they asked for more and who else could we get. 

 

Since then word of our fantastic retreats has spread far and wide. We have students from all over the UK plus Europe.

 

So what can you expect on one of our quilting retreats .......Great food is probably one of the first thing our regulars will tell you, followed by homemade cakes & biscuits, sparkling clean, comfy hotel accommodation, great company, light airy & comfy sewing space, fabulous tuition, lots of fun, a great location, great value,  lovely walks on the beach, reasonable price shops, great fabric shops locally....the list is endless.  Why not come along and find out for yourself?

Longarm Quilting Service

 

 

At QuiltSandwich we have an imported ABM Innova Longarm Quilting machine which is able to work on quilts which are up to 110 inches wide!

 

Our speciality is working with the ABM Autopilot system producing stunning All-over Edge to Edge Designs.  There are hundreds of these available to choose from and more if there isn't the right on for you.
